9/7/19 Headed out to Delaware Int. For the final USAC race of the year with another new chassis set up. Car worked well in the heat race and picked up the win. Redraw for the feature put us on the pole. Didn’t have the right chassis set up for the feature as the track slicked off more than anticipated, we ended up finishing 6th.
Got the drag car prepped for the Philadelphia Modifiers Race at Atco Dragway on 10/13/19. First time pass ran a 11.0 @131mph with rev limiter issue. Fixed issue and ran 11.6 @95mph in second time pass with the turbo charge tube blown off. Repaired the charge tube for 1st round Qualifying guessed on a dial in @10.4 but ended up running the fastest the car has run to date 10.3 @136mph but losing the round cause I ran faster than the dial in. Both a happy and sad day.
Looking ahead to 2020 we are getting a new USAC wingless car to improve our speed and look to get back winning some races with newer technology. We will have our 305 ready with miner improvements and are excited about doing some more winged 410 races.
